Two important aspects of every Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Conference is the building of friendship among its members and the spiritual development of each one of us. As Pope Francis was saying goodbye to the US, we met to celebrate our friendship over a meal. We raise our own funds at every meeting for these get-togethers. There is a secret collection that happens and those funds are saved for the purpuse of regular, social interaction. We also use some of these funds to buy lanyards, banners, and other promotional supplies.
So 100% of our donors' funds to SVdP go directly towards helping the poor and needy.
